2-in-2-1 comments on NCH website

The growing stature or 2-in-2-1 as an authority on Marriage support via the internet was recognised when the Daily Mail approached Liz Percival, Direcor, for comments at the launch of "It's not your fault", an LCD funded project to provide advice and support to children when their parents divorce. Here's what the Daily Mail had to say:

"Liz Percival - Director of 2-in-2-1, which supports traditional family values, said 'The Government could be sending out some very positive signals about the value of marriage, but it seems more interested in this.

Our interest is in encouraging people to go on fighting for their marriages, rather than saying that any relationship is OK, and we would very much like to see more marriage being spent in this area.

Research shows that marriage is generally a healthier state for the adults and the children.

There should be more preventative wrk being funded, and work to strengthen and enrich marriages before they get into difficulties. If we could encourage more couples to think about their marriage as something worth saving, there would be fewer children in this situation anyway.'"
